Anspach, of Royersford, Pa., passed away at home on Thursday, November 27, 2008, at age 76. Reba was born April 4, 1932, in Sheridan, Lebanon County, Pa. She was one of 10 children born to the late Charles Hoffman and Susan (Edris) Ziegler. She was raised and educated in Richland, Pa. Reba was a 1950 graduate of Richland High School, where she earned the American Legion Award. She also graduated from Lebanon Business College in 1952. In February of that year, she was married to James J. Anspach in New York City. Together they have four children, James M. and wife Vickie I. of Columbia, Pa., Timothy C. and wife Nancy Moyer of Royersford, Jan V. Slack and husband Ken of Royersford, and Christopher D. of Telford, Pa. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; and sisters Rachel Hampsey of Bethlehem and Grace Morgan of Reading. She was also preceded in death by siblings Esther Wenger, Naomi Fake, Cordelia Klopp, Mary Woody, Ray Ziegler, Amy Brown and Marian Massad. Reba was last employed by the Chester County IU, where she worked on the secretarial staff. She has been a member of Grace Lutheran Church since 1964, where she was a faithful choir member for decades. She also worked tirelessly for Meals on Wheels and Project Outreach. She will be most remembered, however, as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to so many. She brightened all she touched with laughter and caring in unselfish ways. She was a talented homemaker, cook, seamstress and artist. Her funeral service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Main Street at Sixth Avenue, Royersford, Pa., on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Revs. Paul H. Neff and Janelle L. Krais. Visitation is from 9-11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Fernwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to Grace Lutheran Church, 595 Church Street, first floor, Royersford, PA 19468; or Montgomery Home Care and Hospice, 25 W. Fornance Street, Norristown, PA 19401. Arrangements are by the CattermoleKlotzbach Funeral Home of Royersford.
