"Willy" Arnold, 75, 317 Union Road, Lebanon, died Sunday, May 25, 2008, in his residence. He was the husband of Mary I. Nelson Arnold, to whom he was married for 52 years. He was born in Lebanon on March 5, 1933, son of the late William L. and Amelia Furman Arnold. He was retired from Weaber Sawmill, and had worked part time for Miller-Bixler Auto Parts. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School; member of Friendship Fire Co., the Bow & Arrow Club; an avid bowler and golfer; and enjoyed auto racing, especially following Bobby Gerhart St. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Linda C., wife of James Houk of Myerstown, Scott A. Arnold of Camp Strauss, Curtis W. Arnold of Jonestown, Susan Arnold of Lebanon, Shelly L., wife of Joseph Koch of Pine Grove; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother Fred Arnold of Frazier, Calif. Memorial services Saturday at 10 a.m. Rohland Funeral Home Inc., Fifth and Cumberland streets, Lebanon, where friends will be received Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. Interment Kimmerlings Cemetery.
