Auman, Irwin R. IRWIN R. AUMAN LEBANON Irwin R. Auman, 88, Hearthstone Manor, formerly of Quentin Road, Lebanon, died Monday, March 3, 2008, in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Grace Wentling Auman. He was born in Rexmont on July 16, 1919, son of the late Daniel and Emma Auman. He was the founder and retired owner of the I. Auman Machine Co., Lebanon. He was a master tool and die maker, member of several Masonic organizations, member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers for over 25 years, Quentin Riding Club, member and former board member of the Lebanon Country Club. He also bred and raised thoroughbred horses. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Sandra, wife of Ronald Schlaybach of Womelsdorf, Timothy I., husband of Karen Auman of Jonestown, David J., husband of Pamela Auman of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; stepchildren, Michael Rank and wife Karen of Cornwall, Sandra, wife of Hank Kreiser of Lebanon, and their families. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth I. Auman; and 10 brothers and sisters. Funeral Friday at 1 p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, Fifth and Cumberland streets, Lebanon, where friends may call Friday beginning at noon. Interment Quentin Cemetery.
