  Mary E. Barr LEBANON Mary E. Barr, 80, formerly of 2114 Chestnut St., Lebanon, 
  died January 15, 2008, in Spang Crest Manor. She was the wife of the late Edgar 
  R. Barr. She was born in Lebanon on March 26, 1927, a daughter of the late 
  Harry and Stella M. McGuiney Demmy. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending 
  time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Trinity 
  Lutheran Church, Lebanon, and The Odds & Ends Club, Hershey. She enjoyed 
  listening to gospel music, particularly The Gaither Homecoming Group. She is 
  survived by children, Jean, wife of Preston Darkes, Edward R. Barr, Dawn, wife 
  of Thomas Horner, Bonita, wife of Mark Grumbine, all of Lebanon, Patricia 
  Boudreux, companion of Doyle Middlebrooks, Kilgore, Texas; sister, Evelyn 
  Mellinger, Lebanon; brothers, William Demmy, Lebanon, Robert, husband of 
  Isabelle Demmy, San Antonio, Texas, Richard Demmy; nine grandchildren; six 
  greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by 
  sisters, Josephine Demmy, Marguerite Oxenford; brothers, C. James Demmy, Allen 
  Demmy; granddaughter, Melanie Horner; sister-in-law, Gail Brackbill. There will 
  be a viewing Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, Fifth and 
  Cumberland streets, Lebanon. Funeral Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. 
  Interment Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, 
  contributions can be made to American Diabetes Association, 3544 N. Progress 
  Ave., Suite 202, Harrisburg, PA 17110; American Heart Association, P.O. Box 
  1263, Lebanon, PA 17042; Spang Crest Manor, 945 Duke St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
