Barto, 10, of 251 Airport Road, Fredericksburg, died Monday, February 4, 2008, in Children's Hospital at the University of North Carolina Medical Center, Chapel, Hill, N.C., following injuries sustained in a motocross accident while practicing in Henderson, N.C. Wyatt was born in Lebanon on May 29, 1997, and was the son of John L. Barto Jr. of Fredericksburg and Corie M. Noel of Jonestown. He was a fifth grade student at Fredericksburg Elementary School, where he participated in the school chorus, played on the Northern Lebanon Viking Pony Football Team, and was a wrestler with the Viking Matt Club. During release time from school, he attended Mt. Zion Road Church of the Brethren. His passion for motocross racing began at age four. At age seven, he was sponsored by MCW (Miller's Cycle Works, Leola) and Conti USA, Italy, to race nationally. Wyatt was the first individual in the United States to be sponsored by Conti USA in motocross racing, of which he was very proud. By the time he was eight, he was rated 32nd in National Motocross Racing and won the District Six Championship three times. Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers, Evan L. Barto and Shayden O. Barto, both at home; two sisters, Kylynn M. Klopp and Madison G. Klopp, both of Jonestown; a stepbrother, Damian M. Klopp of Jonestown; a stepmother, Shelli L. Barto of Fredericksburg; and a stepfather, Michael J. Klopp of Jonestown; maternal grandparents Jerome Noel Sr. of Hanover and Shawn Gilbert of Jonestown; paternal grandparents John Sr. and Linda Barto of Annville and Brenda Barto of Lebanon; and paternal great-grandmother Mildred Flocken of Annville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 1011 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. A reception will follow the interment at Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church, 600 Sheperd Street, Jonestown, PA 17038. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Riders Down Foundation, 30296 Buffalo Park Road, Evergreen, CO 80439; or the First National Bank of Fredericksburg, for help with Medical Expenses, 3016 S.
