  Basehore, Anna Jane "AJ"   
   
  Anna Jane "AJ" Basehore, 73, of 134 E. Penn Avenue, Cleona, died Thursday, 
  October 2, 2008, in the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late 
  Frederick A. "Fritz" Basehore Sr., who died in 1984. Born in Cleona on November 
  24, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Emmett L. and Irene Heilman Martin. 
  Anna Jane was a 1952 graduate of Lebanon High School; a member of Hill Lutheran 
  Church, Cleona, where she was a former member of the choir; Women of the 
  Evangelical Church of America; Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 115, Lebanon; 
  Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and National Daughters of the American Revolution; the 
  Huguenot Society of Pennsylvania; and the Lebanon County Historical Society. 
  She also helped to author the book "A History of Cleona 1883 to 1995." 
  Surviving are two sons, Robert L. Basehore and wife Phyllis of Lebanon and 
  Frederick A. Basehore Jr. and wife Pamela of Wake Forrest, N.C.; a brother, 
  Robert H. Martin and wife Gladys of Cleona; six grandchildren; four 
  greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 
  held on Monday at 1 p.m. from Hill Lutheran Church, 998 N. Mill Street, 
  Lebanon, PA 17046. Inurnment will be in Hill Church Cemetery. Visitation will 
  be held on Monday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, 
  contributions may be made to Hill Lutheran Church or the Penn State Cancer 
  Institute, 500 University Drive, Suite 400, Hershey, PA 17033. Kreamer Funeral 
  Home and Crematory, Annville, is in charge of arrangements.
