  Paul S. Berger, 83, of Richland, Pa., formerly of Myerstown and Frystown, died 
  Monday, November 24, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, Pa. He was 
  the husband of Elsie I. Katzaman Berger, to whom he was married 56 years on May 
  24. Born in Shartlesville, Pa., on November 24, 1925, he was the son of the 
  late John S. and Mamie A. (Stahl) Berger. He served in the U.S. Navy, and had 
  been employed at Whitmoyer Laboratories, Myerstown, Pa., for 32 years. He was a 
  member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Myerstown, Pa., and was a life time member 
  of the Mt. Aetna and Bethel fire companies and the Goodwill Fire Co. of 
  Myerstown. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Gail, wife of 
  David Olesh of Pine Grove, Pa.; sons Dennis, husband of Mary Berger of 
  Richland, Pa., and Bryan Berger of Fleetwood, North Carolina; four 
  grandchildren, Angeline Olesh, Andrew, Eric and Samuel Berger; and several 
  nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Berger, and 
  grandson Timothy Olesh. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 29, 
  2008, at 11 a.m. from Friedens Lutheran Church, 301 W. Washington Ave., 
  Myerstown, Pa. Viewing Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment at Pleasant View Cemetery, 
  Sinking Spring, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to 
  the American Heart Association, PO Box 1263, Lebanon, PA 17042. Grose Funeral 
  Home, Myerstown, is in charge of arrangements.
