Miller shabodeho@aol.com August 14, 2008, 8:54 am Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 7/22/2008 Bolger, Frances Bair Frances Bair Bolger, 93, a former long time resident of Palmyra, entered into God's eternal care from Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover, Pa., on Friday, July 18, 2008, following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late William H. Bolger, to whom she was married for 59 years. Born in Hanover on April 23, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Emory J. and Sarah Sell Bair. Mrs. Bolger was a 1933 graduate of Eichelberger High School, and received her bachelor's degree from Millersville State Teachers College in 1938. She served as a librarian for the Palmyra Area School District for 10 years, and was the first female recipient of the Oak Leaf Award at Hanover High School. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter, Jean Bolger Sonntag of Ellicott City, Md.; a sister, Harriette B. Davis of Catonsville, Md.; four grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild. A private memorial service will be held.
