  Elizabeth "Betty" E. Boyer, 89, of Cedar Haven Nursing Home, Lebanon, died 
  Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the home. She was the wife of the late William 
  Foster and the late Arthur Boyer. Born August 28, 1918 in Columbia, PA, she was 
  the daughter of the late Paul and Nora C. Flannagan Sperla. She was a retired 
  Theraputic Dietician and later was a waitress at the former Fenwick Tavern. She 
  was a member of St. Mary's Church, Lebanon, the Quentin Riding Club, the Elks, 
  and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are 3 grandchildren: Michelle Gottshall of 
  Palmyra, David Patteson of Lebanon, and Patrick Patteson of Jonestown. 11 great 
  grandchildren and several cousins. Preceded in death by 1 daughter: Gloria D. 
  Patteson. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, July 7th at 10 a.m. from St. Mary's 
  Church, 2 N. 8th St., Lebanon. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. There will be 
  a visitation beginning at 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church.  
  Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge of the arrangements.
