  Richard A. Boyer, 58, died suddenly on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at the M.S. 
  Hershey Medical Center. He is the husband of Bonnie K. (Derr) Boyer. He was 
  born on June 24, 1950, in Hershey to Warren H. and Beatrice M. Gerberich Boyer. 
  He was employed at the H.B. Reese Candy Company as a packaging analyst for the 
  past 39 years. His life was his family. He enjoyed camping. Surviving him in 
  addition to his wife, Bonnie, are his three sons, Derek A. Boyer and his wife, 
  Jennifer of Harrisburg, Jeremy T. Boyer and his wife, Jennifer of Williamstown, 
  N.J., and Mark R. Boyer and his companion, Brittney of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; 
  five grandchildren, Zac and Alexa Thomas, Bryce, Kylie and Braden Boyer; a 
  sister, Marie B., wife of Dr. Burke Cunha of Garden City, N.Y.; and two 
  nephews, Zachary and Cheston Cunha. Relatives and friends are invited for a 
  time of viewing on Saturday, July 5, 2008, from 9-11 a.m. at the Rothermel 
  Funeral Home Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, followed by his funeral service 
  with Kate Smith, seminarian of the Zion Lutheran Church in Union Deposit, 
  officiating, followed by cremation.
