  Brandt, Edgar C. "Ed"
  
      Edgar C. "Ed" Brandt JONESTOWN Edgar C. "Ed" Brandt, 57, of Jonestown 
  passed away on Monday, January 14, 2008, at the Reading Hospital. He was the 
  husband of Luanne Boger Brandt, and in October they celebrated their 35th 
  wedding anniversary. Born in Lebanon on February 6, 1950, he was the son of the 
  late Edgar W. and Marion C. Mohn Brandt. After 23 years of service, he retired 
  in 2006 from the Jonestown Post Office, where he had been a rural mail carrier. 
  He served six years in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was a member of the Zion 
  Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jonestown, and the Camp Strause, Perseverance, 
  Bethel and Mt. Zion fire companies. He was a member of the Orioles of Lebanon, 
  the Fraternal Order of the Eagles; a member and past commander of the Jonestown 
  American Legion, and for over 20 years he was a member of KRAKO. For many years 
  he volunteered for the Jonestown Ambulance and Fire Co. In addition to his 
  wife, he is survived by his sister Sharon, wife of Donald Davis of Jonestown; 
  and 10 nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 
  17, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Strauss-Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home, 48 W. Market 
  St., Jonestown. No viewing, but a visitation will be held one hour prior to the 
  service. The interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of 
  flowers, memorial contributions may be made the American Cancer Society, 526 
  Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
