Brensinger, 85, of Auburn, Schuylkill County, died Sunday, January 27, 2008, at 12:01 a.m. in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, Lehigh County, where he was since Tuesday following an automobile accident. He was the husband of Mary H. (Binner) Brensinger. The couple celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on January 1, 2008. Born in Middleport, Schuylkill County, he was the son of the late Walter and Maude (Kramer) Brensinger. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was the owner and operator and president of Edenburg Welding Company Inc., Hamburg, for 40 years. He first worked for David Winward, the former owner of Edenburg Welding, as a salesman for 10 years. Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, Randy M., husband of Mary E. (Lau) Brensinger, Centre Township; and one daughter, Brenda J. (Brensinger) Watkins, Waukesha, Wisconsin. He was predeceased by a daughter, Rita J. (Brensinger) Witkus, who died January 11, 2008. There are two brothers, Neal Brensinger, Schuylkill Haven, and Merle Brensinger, Auburn; and one sister, Jean (Brensinger) Stump, a guest at Pine Grove Nursing Home. There are six grandchildren, Kathleen, Raymond, Christopher, Timothy, Michael and Daniel; and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his loving dog Cuddles. Services will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Leibensperger Funeral Homes Inc., Hamburg (off street parking in rear) with Pastor Leland C. Stauff officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A viewing will be held Wednesday 5 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hillside S.P.C.A.. P.O.
