  Nancy J. Bretherick Nancy of Palmyra, Pa., passed away November 12, 2008, at 
  home, with her loving husband and children by her side. Nancy, the daughter of 
  Wayne and Eva Allwein, who preceded her in death, was born in Lebanon, Pa. A 
  housewife for most of her life, raising her sons, she worked approximately 10 
  years for the Palmyra school system as cafeteria support personnel. Upon the 
  retirement of her husband of 50 years, Nancy and Bernard travel through the 
  continental United States before finding their homes in Bradenton, Fla., in the 
  winter, and Palmyra, Pa., for the summer months. She preceded in passing by her 
  sister, Mary Koehler; and brothers Joseph Allwein and Wayne Allwein Jr. She is 
  survived by her sisters, Theresa Dooley, wife of Anthony Dooley of Lebanon, 
  Pa., Barbara Speck, wife of Donald Speck of Lebanon, Pa., and her brother, 
  David Allwein of Easton, Pa. She is survived by her husband, Bernard 
  Bretherick; son and daughter-in-law Glenn and Linda DeTurk of Hershey, Pa., son 
  and daughter-in-law Doug and Julie Bretherick of Wake Forest, N.C.; 
  grandchildren Joseph DeTurk and Jennifer DeTurk of Palmyra, Pa., and Samuel 
  Bretherick of Wake Forest, N.C. Private services will be held for immediate 
  family only in wishes of Nancy Bretherick. "Maybe still there are time for 
  angels, you will see, they will come. Beyond the clouds and rainbows tell me 
  please there will be angels to take the pain and set you free." Condolences may 
  be expressed through Bernard Bretherick, 537 N. Grant St., Palmyra, PA 17078; 
  and in lieu of flowers, please donate to your personal charities in the name of 
  Nancy Bretherick. Rothermel Funeral Home Inc. were entrusted with services.
