  Ruth J. Brimmer WERNERSVILLE Ruth J. Brimmer, 81, of Wernersville, formerly of 
  Robesonia, died January 2, 2008, at 5:30 a.m. in PhoebeBerks Health Center. She 
  was the wife of the late J. Ralph Brimmer, who died July 21, 1989. Born in 
  Reading, she was a daughter of the late Walter J. and Eva (Saylor) Saylor. She 
  worked as a social worker at the VA Medical Center, Lebanon, for 13 years, 
  retiring in 1984. She had previously worked at Bethany Children's Home, 
  Womelsdorf. She was a member of Calvary U.C.C. Reading and a former member of 
  1st Presbyterian Church, Reading. She was a 1945 graduate of Reading High 
  School, a 1956 graduate of Albright College and a 1959 graduate of University 
  of Pennsylvania with master in social work. She is survived by three step-sons ñ
   John R. Brimmer of Naples, Fla., James R. Brimmer of Lebanon, Pa., and Andrew 
  A. Brimmer of Sinking Spring; one step-daughter ñ Elizabeth A. Smith of 
  Wilmington, N.C.; also her twin Brother ñ Richard G. Saylor of Albuquerque, 
  N.M., 14 stepgrandchildren; and 19 stepgreat-grandchildren. She is predeceased 
  by a stepdaughter ñ Mary S. Smith, a brother ñ Walter Saylor Jr. and sister ñ 
  Emma Saylor. Funeral services from Phoebe-Berks Village Chapel, 1 Reading 
  Blvd., Wernersville, on Saturday 1:30 p.m. Pastor Stephen Ohnsman officiating. 
  Interment in Aulenbach's Cemetery, Mt. Penn. Viewing Sat. 12:30 ñ 1:30 PM at 
  Phoebe Chapel. Please make contributions to Phoebe-Berks Village, 1 Reading 
  Drive, Wernersville, PA 19565. The Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 
  Shillington, is in charge of arrangements.
