  Dorothy C. Burch LEBANON Dorothy C. Burch, 89, of 800 Willow St., Willow 
  Terrace, Lebanon, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, in the Good Samaritan Hospital. 
  She was the wife of the late Clarence R. Burch, who died on March 28, 1993. 
  Born in Lebanon on September 2, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Joseph 
  and Elizabeth C. Hicking Schlegel. She was a cook for 30 years at the 
  Friendship Fire Co. and also was a life member. She was an avid bingo player, 
  and enjoyed playing cards, especially blitz. She enjoyed spending time with her 
  family and friends. She was a member of St. Mary's Church. Surviving are three 
  children, Thomas, husband of Christine Burch of Odessa, Florida, Jacqueline, 
  wife of David Ermold of Lebanon, and Elizabeth, wife of Barry Saunders of 
  Manheim; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Anne 
  Reilly of Lebanon, Agnes Fancovic of Myerstown, Mary Bentz of Reading and 
  Elizabeth Darone of California; two brothers, Edward Schlegel of Lebanon and 
  William, husband of Lucy Schlegel of California; many nieces and nephews. She 
  was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Joseph Schlegel; and one 
  sister, Cecilia Gristick. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 10 from St. 
  Mary's Church, 2 N. Eighth St., Lebanon 17046. Interment at the convenience of 
  the family on Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. There will be a visitation 
  Wednesday morning 910 at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made 
  to St. Mary's Church. Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in charge of arrangements.
