"Clem" Clements, 87, formerly of West Main Avenue, Myerstown, Pa., died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at ECC Retirement Village-StoneRidge Village Campus Health Care Center, Myerstown. He was the husband of the late Sara B. Brassington Clements, who died November 7, 1995. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., on February 1, 1921, he was the son of the late James T. and Goldie M. Fry Clements. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a barber at the Lebanon VA Hospital, retiring in 1975. He was a member of Myerstown UCC, a past president of the Elco Rotary Club, and was a member of the Williamson Masonic Lodge F & AM No. 207 of Womelsdorf, where he received a 60-year pin. He is survived by a nephew, Norman Clements of Blakeslee, Pa. Graveside services were held Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at 10 a.m. at New Union Cemetery, Myerstown, Pa. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, was in charge of arrangements.
