Douglas Coffey, 57, of 131 Palm City Park, Annville, died Friday, January 4, 2008, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born in Lewistown on April 12, 1950, he was the son of the late James V. and Betty I. Rothrock Coffey. He worked for Palmyra Boro for 15 years and was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam serving as an expert marksman instructor, and later served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Doug was a 1968 graduate of Freehold Regional High School, Freehold, N.J., a member of the NRA, and a former member of the Steelstown Rod and Gun Club. Surviving are a son Jason J., husband of Lisa Eastman of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and two grandchildren, Wyatt and Ella Eastman. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Inurnment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 121 p.m. at the funeral home.
