  Harold L. "Wimp" Conklin MYERSTOWN Harold L. "Wimp" Conklin, 75, 427 1/2 W. 
  Main Ave., Myerstown, died Sunday, February 3, 2008, in the Lebanon VA Medical 
  Center. He was the husband of the late Helen May Thome Conklin. He was born in 
  Clearfield on December 29, 1932, son of the late Raymond and Margaret Wyant 
  Conklin. He was a retired supervisor for North American Refractories and the 
  Tulpehocken School District. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a 1953 
  graduate of Clearfield High School, where he was a member of the wrestling team 
  and wrestled along with numerous state champions. Surviving are son, Michael, 
  husband of Dorothy Conklin, Lebanon; daughter, Cynthia, wife of Vincent 
  Bickhart, Wernersville; four grandchildren; brother Eugene "Beanie," husband of 
  Maggie Conklin, Woodland; and niece Summer, wife of Gregory Petruska, 
  Myerstown, with whom he had resided. He was preceded in death by sister Louise 
  Derrick. Funeral Thursday 11 a.m. Rohland Funeral Home Inc., Fifth and 
  Cumberland streets, Lebanon, where a viewing will be held Thursday beginning at 
  10 a.m. Interment Grand View Memorial Park.
