  Betty Jane Cook GROVETON, TEXAS Betty Jane Cook, 74 years of age, Groveton, 
  Texas, passed to her eternal rest in East Texas Medical Center, Tyler, Texas, 
  on January 18, 2008. She was the wife of the late Russell Cook and the daughter 
  of the late William and Edna Althouse. When living in Lebanon, she was a member 
  of the Lebanon Church of the Brethren. She is survived by daughters, Pamela of 
  Lebanon, Dorothy, wife of Dan Thompson, and Kim, wife of John Snyder, all of 
  Texas. She leaves four grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. She leaves four 
  sisters, Florence Vituszynski, Lebanon, Grace Daub, Jonestown, Ruth Ainsworth, 
  Lebanon, Marie Graham, Cape Coral, Florida; and one brother, Charles Althouse 
  Sr., Myerstown. She was preceded in death by brothers Eugene and Robert 
  Althouse. Funeral services were held at the Groveton Funeral Home, Monday, 
  January 21, 2008.
