  Davis, William Gould   
   
   
  William Gould Davis, 91, ManorCare, Lebanon, died Tuesday, September 9, 2008, 
  in his residence. He was the husband of the late Helen D. Drescher Davis. He 
  was born April 8, 1917, in Racine, Wis., son of the late Alonzo Gould Davis and 
  the late Alma Jensen Davis. He was retired from the engineering department of 
  ITT. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II. He was a member of the 
  Annville American Legion. Surviving are son Richard W. and wife Patricia J. 
  Davis of North Carolina; granddaughters Jessica Lynn Davis, Kathryn Alison 
  Davis; and brother James Davis of Lake Geneva, Wis. He was preceded in death by 
  sister Marjorie Grody. Private family services will be held with interment in 
  Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made 
  to the Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging, 710 Maple St., second floor, 
  Lebanon 17046. The Rohland Funeral Home Inc., Lebanon, is in charge of 
  arrangements
