"Hon" Deimler Sr., 69, of South Hanover Township passed away Sunday, September 21, 2008, in ManorCare Health Services, Elizabethtown. Born in Harrisburg Hospital on November 20, 1938, he was the son of the late David Raymond and Elsie K. Forney Deimler. "Hon" retired as a line mechanic for Hershey Foods Company, where he worked for 40 years. He was a member of the Chocolate Workers Union Local 464. "Hon" enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. and Canada, and deep sea fishing. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Warren is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary Ann Graby Deimler, whom he married on November 12, 1977; three sons, Christopher G. Deimler, husband of Pam of South Hanover Township, Douglas H. Deimler, fianc" of Jennifer of Iowa City, Iowa, and Warren E. Deimler Jr. of North Carolina; two daughters, Lisa Phillips of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Carla Brown, wife of Phillip of Savannah, Georgia; six grandchildren; and six brothers, and sisters, John D. Deimler of Middletown, Ray R. Deimler Sr. of Hershey, Ethel M. Crowell of Harrisburg, Roy D. Deimler of Mt. Carmel, Charles E. Deimler of Halifax, and Sara J. Loye of Dauphin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard L., Martin L., and Raymond F. "Trink" Sr. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements.
