(Lynn) Deiner, of Lebanon, daughter of the late Joseph R. and Evelyn H. (Mehler) Fick. On June 17th, she left her place here on earth, traditionally surrounded by her family, to join her preceded family in heaven. She was born Dec. 31, 1939. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Lebanon, Pa. She attended Lebanon Catholic High School, and as a teen, she played drums for the Lebanon VFW Drum & Bugle Corps. She retired after 30 years of work at the Lebanon VA Medical Center, had been steward of the AFGE Local 1966 for four years, and then president for 14 years. Prior to that, she was secretary/treasurer of the 3rd District V.A. Council, which involved traveling to seminars in different states. She was recognized by the city of Lebanon for naming "Progress Park," formerly Bethlehem Steel. She was an avid bingo player and craft maker. Survived by three sons, Carl, David and wife Wanda, Michael and wife Christy; eight grandchildren; sisters Mary Fick DeGroat, wife of Robert, and Jacqueline Fick Lawrence, wife of the late John; sister-in-law Anastasia Fick; brotherin-law Robert Zimmerman; five nephews; four nieces; six great-nephews; and nine great-nieces; and her loving cat, See- ATee. She was preceded in death by son Baby Boy Deiner, brother Nicholas Fick, sisters Sandra Fick Zimmerman and Laurene Joan Fick. Funeral services Tuesday at 10 a.m. from Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. Ninth St., Lebanon. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
