"Charlie" Demler, 79, of 232 Palm City Park, Annville, died Thursday, March 20, 2008, at M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born November 29, 1928, in Lebanon, a son of the late David and Catherine Smith Demler. He had worked at the Cornwall Ore Mines and with Bethlehem Steel Co. He was a life member of the Liberty Fire Co. and had volunteered with their fire police. He was a member of the Retired Cornwall Miners. Surviving are his wife, Bernice C. Michael Demler of Annville; daughters Catherine, spouse of Francis Leddick of South Annville, and Anna Mae, spouse of Robert Barnett of Fredericksburg; brothers David Demler of Harrisburg and John Demler of Omaha, Nebraska; four grandchildren; and eight great- grandchildren.
