  George A. Derr MYERSTOWN George A. Derr, 73, of Myerstown died Monday, January 
  7, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, Pa. He was the husband of the 
  late Edna J. Hangey Derr, who died June 18, 2007. Born in Souderton, Pa., on 
  September 12, 1934, he was the son of the late Samuel and Ruth Haines Derr. He 
  was a graduate of Souderton High School, Souderton, Pa. He was the vice 
  president of manufacturing at Nursery Supplies, Chambersburg, Pa., for more 
  than 20 years, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed pets. He is survived by a daughter 
  Georgene "Gigi," wife of Christopher Maciolek of Jackson, New Jersey; sons, 
  Gary L., husband of Cheryl Derr of Hilltown, Pa., and Mark A., husband of 
  Joanne Derr of Lehighton, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and several great-
  grandchildren; and a sister Dorothy M. Brunner of Hommassa, Florida. He was 
  preceded in death by a daughter Terri L. Mahon in 2007. Services will be 
  private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial 
  contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1274, 
  Lebanon, PA 17042. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, is in charge of
