  Detweiler, Gerald Dale    
   
  Gerald Dale Detweiler PALMYRA Gerald Dale Detweiler, 38, of Palmyra went home 
  to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Sunday, January 6, 2008. He was born to 
  Ernest P. and Janice M. (Moyer) Detweiler of Jonestown on November 19, 1969, in 
  Quakertown, Pa. He was the husband of Joann S. (Hursh) Detweiler, and they 
  celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary on August 29th, and he was the 
  father of Freda Rose (8 years), Angela Joy (7 years), Katrina Jewel (5 years), 
  and Stephen Ernest (3 years), all at home. He is also survived by his brothers 
  Michael D., husband of Rhoda (Weaver) of Forrest, Miss., Bruce L., husband of 
  Rebecca (Rohrer) of Jonestown, Harold E. and Clifford G., both at home; sisters 
  Emily J. and Lucy J., at home; his in-laws Lester M. and Arlene M. Hursh of Mt. 
  Joy. Gerald was a member of the Dohner Mennonite Church. He was a self-employed 
  chicken farmer and was the owner/operator of Detweiler Lawn Care. Funeral 
  services will be held at Dohner Mennonite Church on Thursday, January 10, 2007, 
  at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Your support would be 
  appreciated at the viewing on Wednesday 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Dohner 
  Mennonite Church, Cedar Run Road, Lebanon. Please omit flowers. StraussKreamer 
  & Lum Funeral Home, Jonestown, is in charge of the arrangements.
