  Erma B. Dieffenbach, 78, formerly of Bethel Township died November 26th at 3:03 
  p.m. in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Her husband, Curtis C. 
  Dieffenbach, died January 19, 2004. Born in Tulpehocken Township, daughter of 
  the late Seranus and Mabel (Rutter) Troutman. Erma was primarily a homemaker, 
  did private seamstress work, and for a short time, was a shift manager at the 
  Frystown Truck Stop. She will always be remembered as a wonderful cook, and 
  especially her heavenly peach cobbler. She was a member of Altalaha Lutheran 
  Church, where she served on the church women's group and other activities. She 
  and her late husband were actively involved in their son's Cub Scout Pack No. 
  489 in Bethel. Surviving are a son, Craig C. Dieffenbach, and his wife, Cathy, 
  with whom she resided in Myerstown for the past three years. In addition to her 
  husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Home Troutman. Services 
  will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Hill Funeral Home, Rehrersburg. Interment 
  at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. at 
  the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the 
  Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067; or 
  to Another Chance 4 Horses, 166 Station Road, Bernville, PA 19506.Er
