  Lavina A. Ditzler LEBANON Lavina A. Ditzler of Lebanon, in her 86th year, died 
  Wednesday, January 9th, 2008, at Good Samaritan Hospital. Her son, James S. 
  Ditzler and his two children preceded her in death. Surviving are her sister, 
  Margaret Sanchez; a son, Michael R. Ditzler; a daughter Candis A. Hilton; three 
  grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ditzler was a lifetime member 
  of the Women's Auxiliary of the VFW. She was a lover of nature who always asked 
  whether you saw the beautiful sunset or sunrise. Mrs. Ditzler loved her garden, 
  where her flowers were her pride and joy. Books were always a part of who she 
  was. She was best friend to grandchildren; a mother who stood up for what she 
  believed in; a sister who was full of charisma. Cedar Haven, where she retired, 
  was a place full of memories and laughter. Remember her without a tear, but 
  with a laugh, because of her sense of humor, her wit and her straight 
  forwardness. Arrangements entrusted to Auer Memorial Home and Cremation 
  Services Inc., Harrisburg.
