  Edris, Richard E.   
   
  Richard E. Edris, 75, of Cleona, Pa., died Thursday, November 13, 2008, at the 
  Tremont Nursing Home, Tremont, Pa. He was the husband of Lois M. Edris, to whom 
  he would have been married 56 years on December 13. Born in Tulpehocken 
  Township, Berks County, Pa., on March 30, 1933, he was the son of the late 
  Elmer and Eva M. (Peiffer) Edris. He had been a car salesman for many years at 
  numerous car dealerships in Lebanon County. He previously worked at Quaker 
  Alloy, Myerstown. He worshipped in the Protestant faith, and enjoyed bowling, 
  sprint car racing, and his dog, Rusty. In addition to his wife, he is survived 
  by a daughter, Donna Wanner of Cleona; and sons Larry, husband of Yvonne Edris 
  of Lebanon, and Rick, husband of Nancy Edris of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; 
  eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lillian Gibble of Myerstown. He was 
  preceded in death by a greatgrandson, Dylan A. Stauffer, in 1995; and sisters 
  Helen Brightbill, Irene Donkel and Mildred Geist. A memorial service will be 
  held Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at 7 p.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. 
  Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Interment at the convenience of the family. In 
  lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of 
  Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
