Miller shabodeho@aol.com December 8, 2008, 2:41 pm Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 11/25/2008 Eisenhauer, Joan Elizabeth Joan Elizabeth Eisenhauer, 81, of Lebanon died Sunday, November 23, 2008, in her home. She was wife of the late Paul R. Eisenhauer, who passed Dec. 10, 1996. She was born October 13, 1927 in Orwin, daughter of the late Rev. Henry Kohr and Nora Heberling Kohr. She graduated from the Schaefferstown School District, and worked in sewing factories in Lebanon. She retired completely after working for Capitol Bakery Bread stores in Lebanon. She sewed and made baked goods and homemade jellies, which were sold at markets and craft shows. She was known for her rhubarb garden. Surviving are children the Rev. Lee Gangaware, spouse of Polly of Long Island, New York, Craig Gangaware, spouse of Molly of Greenpoint, Barbara Kaminski, spouse of James of Wilkes-Barre, Dennis Eisenhauer, spouse of Vicki of Clermont, Florida, Roy Eisenhauer, LuAnn Eisenhauer and Dawn Fenstermacher of Lebanon, Lori Hare, spouse of Michael of Exeter; brothers the Rev. Charles Kohr of Brookville and Mark Kohr of North Abington, Massachusetts; grandchildren Cathy Webb, Vicci Lopez, Andrea and Erica Kaminski, Lizzy and Hannah Gangaware, Adam Gangaware, Christopher, Brad, Jeffrey and Benjamin Eisenhauer, Jennifer and Jason Fenstermacher, Jonathan P. Eisenhauer and Michael L. Steiner; and nine greatgrandchildren. She was also preceded in death by son Bryan L. Eisenhauer on July 30, 1980, and brother Bruce Kohr on Nov. 4, 2008. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Bethany United Methodist Church, 510 N. Hanover Street, Lebanon. Cremains interment in Kimmerlings Cemetery.
