  Edith M. Eisenhauer, 78, of 590 S. Fifth Ave., and formerly of Chapel Street, 
  Lebanon, died Saturday, November 1, 2008, at Cedar Haven. She was born November 
  23, 1929, in Lebanon, daughter of the late John and Bertha Frederick Emerich. 
  She was an active member of Covenant United Methodist Church, and had been a 
  teacher's aide in the Lebanon School District. Surviving are children Anne, 
  spouse of Larry Sweigart of Lebanon, Susan, spouse of William Swain of 
  Myerstown, David, spouse of Barbara Eisenhauer of Lebanon, Brenda, spouse of 
  Vaughn Johnson of Delaware, and Diane Bowers of Lebanon; brothers John Emerich 
  and Henry Emerich, both of Lebanon, sisters Shirley Gingrich, Laura, spouse of 
  Richard Kohr, Grace Emerich, Jean Campbell and Doris Emerich, all of Lebanon; 
  Catherine, spouse of Joseph Gassert of Myerstown; four grandchildren; and 
  several greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Elon 
  Eisenhauer Jr. on Dec. 15, 1994, and two grandchildren. Viewing is scheduled 
  for Wednesday, November 5, 2008, from 9-10 a.m. at Christman's Funeral Home 
  Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, followed by services at 10 a.m. Burial 
  will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to National
