Grace was the widow of Angelo P. Elmi of Hershey. Grace was born in Utica, New York, on October 22, 1919. She was also predeceased by her parents Angelo Saladino and Orsola Baccaro Saladino; her brothers Carmen Saladino and Henry Saladino. Grace was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church, Hershey, where she greatly enjoyed singing in the choir. She took great pride in raising her children and participating in her grandchildren's lives, was a very supportive and loving wife to Angelo, was a creative gourmet cook who had won several recipe contests throughout the years, and was very interested in politics, news programming, and current events. She was an excellent role model for her children and grandchildren in teaching them honesty, integrity, and self-reliance. Grace is survived by her son, Francis N. Elmi and his wife Gina M. Elmi; her daughter Rosemary Elmi; grandson Angelo Elmi; granddaughter Elizabeth Elmi and granddaughter Katherine Bossler; a sister and brother-in-law, Dino and Madeline Niccolini; sister-in-law Jo Saladino, sister-in-law Diane Saladino; nieces and nephews, Andrea Redcay and husband Leonard, Irene Smith and husband John, Rosemary Oliva and husband Jerry, Linda Saladino of Syracuse, New York, and Angelo Saladino, Albert Saladino, and Susan Barlowe from Buffalo, New York. A viewing will be held in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Route 422 and Lucy Avenue, Hershey, from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. Friday evening March 7th with the recitation of the rosary beginning at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 8th, at 12:30 p.m. in her church at 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey. Grace truly enjoyed her activities at Twin Oaks. In memory of Grace, donations can be made to the Twin Oaks Resident's Fund, Twin Oaks Nursing Center, 2880 Horseshoe Pike, Campbelltown, PA 17010.
