  Bertha E. Emrich MOUNTVILLE Bertha E. Emrich, 92, of Cedar Haven, and formerly 
  of Mountville, passed away on Sunday March 16, 2008, at the Lebanon Good 
  Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Paul E. Emrich. Born in North 
  Annville Township on September 6, 1915, she was the daughter of the late George 
  W. and Lillian Killian Hitz. For many years she served as sexton at the Messiah 
  Lutheran Church, Lebanon, and for over 30 years she was the sexton at the 
  Mountville United Methodist Church, where she was also a member. She is 
  survived by her son Gary E. Emrich and his wife Dolores of Mountville; 
  grandchildren Heather McLaughlin and Andrew Emrich; stepgrandchildren Michelle 
  Long and Michael Zechman; and a stepgreat-grandson, Austin Long. She was 
  preceded in death by her six brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will 
  be held on Thursday, March 20, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the StraussKreamer & Lum 
  Funeral Home, 48 W. Market St., Jonestown. Viewing will be held one hour prior 
  to the service. Interment will be in the Mountville Cemetery. In lieu of 
  flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Haven, 590 S. Fifth Ave., 
  Lebanon, PA 17042.
