"Dutch" Engle, 79, of 1105 Walnut St., Lebanon, died Saturday, August 2, 2008 in the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born August 4, 1928 in Campbelltown, a son of the late James W. and Mazzie Jane Mengle Engle. He was a member of the Lebanon Moravian Church. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He had been a welder for the Bethlehem Steel, Annville plant. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Lodge #226 F&AM; Tall Cedars and their band; Harrisburg Consistory, Lebanon Co. Shrine Club; Izaak Walton League; R. Field and Stream; Navy Ship Club #91; Friendship, Neversink and Mt. Zion Fire Companies. Surviving are wife Lorraine J. Clements Engle of Lebanon; son Richard C. spouse of Suzette Engle of Lebanon; brother Charles W. Engle of Jonestown and sister Sylvia Beavers of Maryland; grandsons Ryan Engle and Brandon Engle; great grandsons Jaidynn Engle and Chase Engle and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers William Lear, Clarence P. Engle, Harvey D. Engle, James H. Engle, Ronald Engle, Calvin Engle and Paul Engle. Mt. Lebanon Lodge #226 F&AM service at 9:45AM Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at Moravian Church, 1115 Birch Road, Lebanon, PA 17042 followed by viewing from 10-11AM and services at 11AM.
