  Dawn E. Esworthy, 66, Harrisburg, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, 
  November 1, 2008. Born September 26, 1942, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter 
  of the late Raymond and Myrtle (Noll) Kurtz, and was a 1960 graduate of John 
  Harris High School. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death 
  by two sisters, Patty Lou Hoch and Elaine Holsberg. She was a member of The 
  Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Harrisburg. Surviving are her 
  beloved husband of 47 years, Jack Esworthy Jr.; two sons, Jack (and wife Cathy) 
  Esworthy III of Roanoke, Va., and Cory R. (and wife Kim) Esworthy of 
  Harrisburg; and her grandchildren, Jack IV, Jamie, Cory, Jacob, Tyus, Brett and 
  Kim. A celebration of Dawn's life will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 
  20008, in her church with the Rev. Kathleen J. Baker, her pastor, officiating. 
  Burial will be in Schaefferstown Cemetery. Friends and family will be received 
  from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church. Contributions may be made in her 
  memory to her church, 3700 Rutherford Street, Harrisburg 17111; or 
  PinnacleHealth Hospice, 3705 Elmwood Drive, Harrisburg 17110. W. Orville Kimmel 
  Funeral Home Inc., Harrisburg, is handling arrangements.
