Etzweiler, 85, of 1123 Blair St., Lebanon, died Sunday, November 2, 2008, in her home. She was the wife of Edward W. Etzweiler Sr. for 67 years. She was born March 28, 1923, in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Norman and Elsie Schott Steffy. Ethel was formerly employed at Weis Shirt Factory, Lebanon, Hershey Chocolate Factory, and Reese's of Hershey. She was a life member of the Ebenezer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary; past president of the Lebanon American Legion Ladies Auxiliary; enjoyed playing bingo and needle work. Surviving in addition to her husband are sons Edward W. Etzweiler Jr. and companion Sandy of Minersville, Terry Lee, husband of Judy Etzweiler of Lebanon; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters Betty A., wife of Paul Templin, Doris M., wife of Albert Warner, Anna M., wife of the late John Lane, all of Lebanon; brother Norman Steffy Jr. of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Steffy. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Interment in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
