  Evermon, Mary Jane (Gillis)   
   
  Mary Jane (Gillis) Evermon, 92, of Annville passed away in her sleep Thursday, 
  October 30, 2008 at Kindred Place. Mrs. Evermon was born in Harrisburg on 
  January 12, 1916 to Daniel A. and Alice R. Grissinger Gillis. She was the wife 
  of Bruce E. Evermon who died September 12, 2000. Mary Jane & her late husband 
  originally of Tower City, resided in the Harrisburg, Media and Hershey areas 
  all their lives. She was a devoted mother and is survived by her loving 
  children Jack Evermon and Kim Lott, one sister Dorothy Newberger, one grandson, 
  four granddaughters and eight great grandchildren. She was a member of the 
  Trinity United Church of Christ in Palmyra, PA. Relatives and friends are 
  invited for a time of viewing on Thursday, November 13, 2008 from 10:00-11:00 
  at the Rothermel Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra with her funeral 
  at 11:00 with Rev. John Binkley officiating. Burial will follow in the Gravel 
  Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the 
  Trinity United Church of Christ, 40 W. Pine St., Palmyra PA 17078
