Fernsler, 81, of Lebanon, Pa., died Friday, November 21, 2008, at Cedar Haven, Lebanon. She was the wife of John R. Fernsler, to whom she was married 28 years on April 25. Born in Cornwall, Pa., on August 2, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Louise (Kehm) Ginnetto. She had been a waitress in numerous restaurants in Lebanon County for many years. She worshipped in the Protestant faith, and enjoyed crocheting and reading. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Kelly, wife of Timothy Long of Lebanon, and Susan Hutchins, friend of Thomas Arnold of Lebanon; son John Scott, husband of Susan Fernsler of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters Mary, wife of Cyril Werth of Lebanon, and Lillian Milovich of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 1, 2008, at 11 a.m. from St. Mark's UCC, 426 N. Eighth St., Lebanon, Pa. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, is in charge of arrangements.
