  Mildred M. Firestine, 91, of Richland, Pa., died Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at 
  Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of Nelson Firestine, to whom she 
  was married 70 years on May 14. Born in Prescott, Pa., on March 13, 1917, she 
  was the daughter of the late Mary Burkey MengelTroutman. In addition to her 
  husband, she is survived by a daughter, Shirley, wife of Allan Holm of 
  Lancaster, Pa.; and a son, Richard, husband of Alice Firestine of Jackson, 
  Tennessee; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will 
  be held Monday, October 6, 2008, at 10 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. 
  Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Viewing Monday at 9:30 a.m. Interment at 
  Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.
