Flory, 86, of Campbelltown died Sunday, August 31, 2008, in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born March 1, 1922, in Hershey, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Hilda (Wanish) Flory. He was employed by Hershey Lumber Products for 30 years, and retired as a cabinetmaker from B & G Lumber Company in Elizabethtown. He was a member of Campbelltown United Methodist Church, and served three years in the U.S. Army during World War II with the 118th Field Artillery Battalion. While in the army, he fought in the Battle of the Bulge and received the European-AfricanMiddle Eastern Service Campaign Medal with five Bronze Stars. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Erma J. (Eshleman) Flory; a son, Bradley J. Flory of Campbelltown; a daughter, Karen L. Mogle of Groveport, Ohio; sisters Evelyn Matlack of Allentown and Dorothy Stoner of Hershey; grandchildren Jason Mogle, Timothy Mogle and Rachel Mogle. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2008, at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra, preceded by a viewing from 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Campbelltown United Christian Cemetery.
