Folk, age 69, of Hershey died peacefully Saturday, November 8th 2008, in her home. Pat was born on January 3, 1939, in Annville, Pa. She was a daughter to the late William and Florence (Peters) Hinkle. She was retired from the Hershey Country Club as a chef. Pat was involved in speaking to high school kids about the dangers of smoking. She also volunteered her time to the Campbelltown Fire Company Auxiliary, the Hershey Medical Center and the Hershey Public Library. Pat enjoyed reading and crocheting. She was the widow of Carl L. Folk, who died in 1987. Surviving are her companion, Terry R. Geib; her brothers, William Jr. and Karl Hinkle. She was predeceased by her sisters, Erelene May, Eileen Brownawell, and Carol Baker. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 12th, at 12 p.m. in the Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra. Family and Friends may visit from 11 to 12 on Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat's memory may be made to Church of the Servant, 25 North Franklin St., Palmyra, PA 17078.
