Folmer, 98, of Cedar Haven Nursing Home died Friday, July 4, 2008, in Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late James M. Folmer, who died in 1976. Born in Lebanon on June 3, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Annie Heffelfinger Lawless. She was a life long member of St. Mary's Church, and was a member of Sodality of St. Mary's, the Parish Council of Catholic Women, and sang in the funeral choir for many years. She enjoyed her card clubs, playing scrabble, and playing games with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Surviving are four children, James V., husband of Monika Folmer of Mechanicsburg, Peggy, wife of Paul Stewart of Allentown, Sister Dorothy D.C. of South Carolina and John V. "Butch" Folmer, husband of Ginny Folmer of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild; many nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. Eighth St., Lebanon 17046. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing hours Thursday morning 8:30-10:30 at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. Ninth St., Lebanon 17042.
