Garrison, age 98, died Sunday, June 8, 2008, in the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra. She was the wife of the late Marion Garrison, who died June 5, 1997. She was born on May 6, 1910, in Charlottesville, Va., to Charles and Cora Garrison. She was a homemaker, and also retired after working for 47 years in the Almond Room of the Hershey Chocolate Factory. She is a member of the Conewago Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed crocheting. Surviving are five sisters, Merle Walters of Palmyra, Myrtle Keener of Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Nina Finney and Eunice Yocum, both of Harrisburg, and Alvesta Schwab of Lebanon Valley Brethren Home; many nieces and nephews. A sister, Almeta Ritter, preceded her in death. Relatives and friends are invited to time for viewing on Thursday, June 12, 2008, from 9:3010:30 at the Rothermel Funeral Home Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, followed by her funeral service with the Rev. Scott Cooper and the Rev. James Ober officiating. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery.
