  Dorothy M. Geesaman, 87, of South Lincoln Street, Palmyra, died Saturday, 
  September 20, 2008, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born August 20, 
  1921, in Lawn, she was a daughter of the late William and Susan (Jacobs) 
  Bricker. She was formerly employed by Hershey Foods Corporation, was a member 
  of Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, Palmyra, Shellsville VFW Ladies 
  Auxiliary, and Palmyra Senior Citizens. She was the widow of Calvin C. 
  Geesaman, who died October 3, 1997; and was also preceded in death by a 
  granddaughter, Lorie McDougal; a daughter, Linda McDougal; and a brother, Earl 
  Bricker. Surviving are her children, Larry Buffenmeyer Sr., husband of Carol 
  Buffenmeyer of Grantville, and Phyllis O'Donald of Sacramento, California; 
  sisters Stella Fies of Quentin and Elsie Stahl of Elizabethtown; 10 
  grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 
  a.m. Friday, September 26, 2008, at Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, 131 
  Gravel Hill Road, Palmyra, preceded by a viewing from 10 a.m. Burial will be in 
  Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Memorial contributions may be made to her 
  church, 131 Gravel Hill Road, Palmyra, PA 17078; or to the Four Diamonds Fund, 
  PO Box 850, Hershey, PA 17033.
