  Gerberich, Mabel A.   
   
  Mabel A. Gerberich, 94, formerly of South Harrison Street, Palmyra, died 
  Sunday, November 16, 2008, in the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra. Born 
  September 11, 1914, in Bethel, she was a daughter of the late Howard B. and 
  Minnie E. (Keeney) Balsbaugh. She retired as a registered nurse from the Good 
  Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, was a graduate of Lankenau School of Nursing, 
  Philadelphia, and a member of Palm Lutheran Church and the Palm Church 
  Quilters. She was the widow of Alfred P. Gerberich, and also preceded in death 
  by sisters Laura Bashore and Grace Royer, and brother Lester Balsbaugh. 
  Surviving are her sons, Alfred H., husband of Sandi Gerberich of Raleigh, North 
  Carolina, and Stanley R. Gerberich, husband of Sandy Fogle of Lewisberry; 
  daughter Phyllis A., wife of Steve Hnatko of Newtown; brother Carl Balsbaugh of 
  Myerstown; grandchildren Andrew J. Gerberich, Amber B. Gerberich, John R. 
  Gerberich, Elizabeth L. Gerberich, Jeremy H. Gecker, and Whitney A. Gecker; and 
  three greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, 
  November 20, 2008, at Palm Lutheran Church, 11 West Cherry Street, Palmyra. 
  Viewings 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, 
  Palmyra, and 10 – 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Gravel Hill 
  Cemetery, Palmyra. Memorial contributions may be made to Palm Lutheran Church, 
  11 West Cherry Street, Palmyra, PA 17078.
