  Gerst, Stanley A.   
   
   
  Stanley A. Gerst, 61, of 505 S. 12th Street, Lebanon, died Thursday, October 
  16, 2008, in Tremont Nursing Home, Schuylkill County. Born in Lebanon on 
  November 17, 1946, he was the son of Sylvia L. Miller Gerst of Lebanon, and the 
  late Stanley R. Gerst. He was retired, after 22 years of service with the 
  Pennsylvania Air National Guard. He was a graduate of Anchorage West High 
  School, Alaska, attended Oklahoma University, and received his associate degree 
  from Burlington Community College. Stan was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, 
  Lebanon, the Travelers Protective Association, the Friendship Fire Company, and 
  enjoyed NASCAR, NFL Football, and jogging. Surviving in addition to his mother, 
  are two daughters, Kerri wife of Terry Eyler of Woodsboro, Md., and Tracy, wife 
  of Dale Heagy of Jonestown; four grandchildren, Annabelle Eyler, Tyler, Hannah, 
  and Natalie Heagy; and a sister, Penelope, wife of Harry Cameron of Moncton, 
  New Brunswick, Canada. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. 
  from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. 
  Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will be held on 
  Tuesday evening from 57 p.m., and also on Wednesday from 9:3010:30 a.m. at the 
  funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Salem Lutheran
