  Emma F. Gettel, 72, of 840 Cedar Crest Drive, Lebanon, died Monday, June 2, 
  2008, in ManorCare Health Services. She was born May 25, 1936, in Milford 
  Township, Bucks County, a daughter of the late Calvin and Beulah Knerr 
  Sweinhart. She had worked for the Gettel Garment Factory and other garment 
  companies, and then she had worked in the dietary department of Cornwall Manor. 
  Surviving are children Beulah M. Kline of Jonestown, Homer E. Gettel of 
  Myerstown and David G., spouse of Michele Gettel of Lebanon; siblings Bertha 
  Kennedy of Middletown, Arlene Billman of Lebanon, Grace Boyanowski of Annville, 
  Carl Sweinhart of Annville, Carrie Mahaffey of Manheim, Wilson Sweinhart of 
  Lebanon and Willard Sweinhart of Womelsdorf; grandchildren Emily, spouse of 
  Michael Tobias, Sadie Kline, Michelle Gettel, companion of Adam Troxell, 
  Nathan, spouse of Christina Kline, Anson Gettel and John Gettel; and 
  greatgrandchildren Sydnie and Tanner Tobias, Austen and Morgan Kline and 
  Phoebe, Wyatt and Rider Troxell. She was preceded in death by husband, Bernard 
  C. Gettel, on March 23, 1971; and siblings Alton Sweinhart, Harold Sweinhart, 
  Clark Sweinhart, and Marie Kieffer . Viewing is scheduled for Thursday, June 5, 
  2008, from 10-11 a.m. at Christman's Funeral Home Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, 
  Lebanon, followed by services at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial 
  Park. Memorials can be sent to American Diabetes Association, 3544 North 
  Progress Avenue, Suite 101, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
