  Gingrich, Arlene (Gernert)     
    
  Arlene (Gernert) Gingrich, 81, of Palmyra died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, in the 
  Lebanon Valley Brethren Home. She was the wife of the late Howard F. Gingrich, 
  who died March 14, 1997. She was born in Jonestown on September 15, 1926, to 
  Harry and Lillian Winkleblack Gernert. She retired in 1992 from the wrapping 
  department of the Hershey Chocolate Factory. She was a member of the Salem 
  United Church of Christ in Campbelltown. Surviving are her children. Her son, 
  Douglas H. Gingrich and his wife, Beth; her daughters, Diane L. Kreider and her 
  husband, Tim, Robin L. Aldinger and her husband, Douglas, Kathy E. Binkley and 
  her husband, James, all of Palmyra; nine grandchildren; brothers Gerald, 
  Robert, Sterling and Earl Gernert. She was preceded in death by sisters Dorothy 
  VanSycoc and Elizabeth Fedder, and brothers Harry, Thomas and Eugene Gernert. 
  Relatives and friends are invited to a time of viewing on Friday, June 13, 
  2008, from 9-10 at the Salem United Church of Christ, 2761 Horseshoe Pike, 
  Campbelltown, followed by her funeral at 10 with the Rev. Dwight Hein 
  officiating. Burial will follow in the United Christian Cemetery. In lieu of 
  flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Salem United Church of 
  Christ, Air-conditioning Fund, PO Box 7, Campbelltown, PA 17011. Rothermel 
  Funeral Home Inc. is entrusted with funeral services.
