  Gogets, Harvey    
   
   
  Harvey Gogets, age 56, of Blue Mountain Road, Schuylkill Haven, passed away on 
  Tuesday, July 8, 2008, in the Pottsville Hospital. Born on August 8, 1951, in 
  Lebanon, he was the son of the late Paul and Naamah Fields Gogets. He had been 
  employed at the former Alcoa Aluminum in Cressona. Harvey served in Vietnam 
  with the 101st Airborne Unit of the U.S. Army during the period from July 1971 
  to February 1972. He received the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious achievement 
  in ground operations against hostile forces. Preceding him in death was his 
  beloved daughter, Stacie Gogets Blanks, on June 26, 2008. Surviving are a son, 
  Kevin Gogets of Pine Grove; four grandchildren; five brothers, John Gogets and 
  Paul Gogets, both of Myerstown, Ted Gogets of Jonestown, Ernie Gogets of 
  Lebanon, Glen Gogets of Richland; two sisters, Mary Lou Long of Myerstown and 
  Louise See of Jackson, Michigan. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 
  11, 2008, at 10 a.m. in the H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, with 
  David Aungst, Dale Aungst, and Jeff Aungst officiating. There will be a viewing 
  on Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be 
  in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
