Goldsborough, 62, of Jonestown passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born in York on January 8, 1946, he was the son of Eugene and Agatha E. Goldsborough. He was a U.S. Marines veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Fredericksburg American Legion Post 915, where he served as post commander. He was also a member of the York VFW Post 556, the Camp Strause Fire Co., the Jonestown Perseverance Fire Co., and the Pine Grove Fish and Game Club. He had worked as a cab driver in York, and then as a bartender at the Fredericksburg American Legion. Funeral services will be held on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Route 72 and Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown (new location). Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment and committal service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lebanon VA Hospice, 1700 S.
