Graves Sr., 77, of 272 Horseshoe Drive, Annville, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Jeanette M. Truitt Graves, to whom he was married to for 52 years. Born in Lewes, Del., on October 29, 1931, he was the son of the late Henry G. and Frances L. Ennis Graves. He was a retired dispatcher and truck driver from John D. Bohr Trucking, and a U.S. Navy veteran of Korea, serving with the Seabees. He was the former owner of Graves Trucking Co., Georgetown, Del. Bill was a 1950 graduate of Georgetown High School, a member of the Bellegrove United Methodist Church, and was an elected member of the Sussex County, Delaware House or Representatives. He was known to his family and friends as "Pop Pop." Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, William E. Graves Jr. and wife Kimberly, Alan E. Graves and wife Susan, and James P. Graves and wife Rita, all of Annville; a daughter, Deborah L., wife of Kenneth D. Bohr of Annville; seven grandchildren, Jessica M. Wenger, Rebekah Sanders, William E. Graves III, Kenni Jo Bohr, Nicole Graves, Jenna Graves, and Matthew Graves; a greatgranddaughter, Addison Wenger; a brother, Ralph K. Graves and wife Eula Mae of Georgetown, Del.; a sister, Virginia L., wife of Harold B. Short of Georgetown, Del.; and a sister-in-law, Gladys Graves of Georgetown, Del. He was preceded in death by a twin brother, Charles L. Graves. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Bellegrove United Methodist Church, 1530 N. Route 934, Annville, PA 17003. Interment in North Bellegrove Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 618 E. Main Street, Annville, and also from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bellegrove United Methodist Church.
